Dance Recital

Today Cassidy had her first dance recital for her ballet and jazz classes. She did such a great job - I couldn't be more proud of her.

Yes, I know. I am LAME.

Okay, so it's been 3 months since I have posted anything to my blog. I am lame. But to my defense a lot has happened in the past three months. I can't even remember how it all started but we were suddening in the market for a new home. We were lucky enough to get the home we wanted in the neighborhood we wanted for the terms we wanted all an hour before we were going to sign a new lease at our old townhome. You could definitely say our prayers were answered and we were immensely blessed. We love our new home and can't wait for summer to take advantage of all the parks and hiking trails.

Two weeks before the move my body tried to pass another kidney stone. Unfortunately this time the stones were too big to pass and I had to have a "surgical" procedure called a lithotripsy where they use soundwaves to break up the stones. I don't know if I would have classified it as a "surgery" but that's what the doctors called it. There were no incisions but they did put me under general anesthetic. After the doctor broke up the stones he put a stent in my ureter which remained there for 2 weeks. That was probably the worst part of the whole thing. That darn thing made me feel like my bladder was about to fall out at any given moment along with the constant need to pee like a bad bladder infection. I was SO glad to have that thing removed. I have yet to names these three stones so if anyone has any good ideas let me know!

Then a week after we moved my parents came into town and Matt and I headed off for our annual SimplyFun incentive trip. This year it was a cruise to Grand Turk Island and the Bahamas. No matter where we go we always have a great time meeting the consultants and making new friends. Here are some pics of our trip.

Matt bustin' a move on the dance floor. Now ladies don't
get any ideas. See that wedding ring on his finger... He's mine!
