I love a good love song! Anything that makes me feel all warm and squishy inside. So with Valentines Day coming up, I searched online to find a list of the most popular love songs and added 10 of them to my blog for your listening enjoyment. Is your favorite on the list? As for me, Lady in Red is my all time favorite song. I think we all would like to be thought of the way he thinks of his lady in red. Like she is the most beautiful woman in the room and he can't take his eyes off of her. Like he is the luckiest man alive to be with her and be loved by her.
Another one of my favorites is I Could Not Ask For More by Edwin McCain. I truly could not ask for more. With Matt every prayer has been answered and every dream has come true. Ahhh!

I guess I'm a hopeless romantic because I love all of those songs that you mentioned. I'd say my most-favorite from your list is "I could not ask for more" because it reminds me of how I feel about Doug. Another one of my favorite love songs is "True Companion" by Marc Cohn...it makes me melt. If you haven't heard that song, definitely listen to it, the lyrics are very sweet.
I think my all-time favorites would have to be "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds and "Question" by Old 97s (I think?). Also, "The Nearness of You." I like the Norah Jones version or Ella Fitzgerald, but there are lots other of good ones.
I am with you...I love Lady in Red. It was the first song Ladd and I danced to when we were dating.
